Delivery of UFO to Central Paris

paris2January 2014 On Tuesday 21st, Flexitrans were involved in a delicate and time specific delivery of a garden sculpture ironically named “All around the World” to France.

Due to the dimensions of the sculpture we had to deliver within the time constraint of 2100 and 0600 hrs to a road in Central Paris.

Permits were obtained and the road was coned off to allow the cranes and our transport to position themselves to allow the removal and installation from the trailer to the specified location for the sculpture.

During the transfer from trailer to location site, there may have been several Parisians convinced they had seen a UFO flying over Central Paris.

As a responsible Freight Forwarder, Flexitrans have ensured that we follow Government Guidelines, and we are all working remotely from home, but we have full access to all our Computers, Telephone Lines and Systems allowing us to continue to work as effectively as if no restrictions were in place.

Due to our nucleus of reliable Suppliers which have grown to trust us over the years, we are still able to undertake any freight enquiry that you may have, to any country, in any quantity, and whether urgently required or more competitively required via a groupage service.

Our accounts department is also fully operational on a day to day basis.
