Today we found out that our name and good reputation is being abused by scam artists to extract money from unsuspecting members of the public. The offenders pretend to be a courier service operating under the Flexitrans brand name and have email addresses that look and sound like they would be ours.
The tricksters send emails in which they request payment to release items or papers that people are waiting for. A common factor seems to be “release of keys or documents by courier”. Flexitrans Ltd. do not offer these kinds of services, we only deal with commercial goods for transportation throughout Europe and worldwide.
The emails seem somewhat authentic and will contain lines like these:
So please do not respond to these emails, no good will come from it.
We are doing all we can to identify the perpetrators and will report everything to the proper authorities. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused by these wrongdoings!
